David

David Giardino studied under Italy’s leading violinist Riccardo Brengola at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and Alberto Fiore at the Conservatoire in Bari. David has extensive professional experience and his credits include Rome Opera House, London Concert Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, London Soloists, Cunard Cruise Liners and he is also a session musician for the BBC. David is the leader of Giardino Strings, Bollywood Strings and The Corporate Quartet specialised in corporate functions in the UK and abroad.

Aleksandra

Aleksandra was born in 1984 and began violin lessons at the age of 6. She attended the Gliere Music College in Kiev (1999-2003) and studied for a Diploma with honours. During this time her violin teacher was Oles Semchuk who was assistant professor to the famous Bogodar Kotorovich. Aleksandra studied at the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy of Ukraine and graduated as a Master of Music, MMus. Aleksandra was also a Concertmaster of Kiev Musical Academy Orchestra and participated in different festivals and concerts all over the world as a soloist and 1st violinist.

Charlie

Charlie was born in London in 1989 and began learning the violin at the age of six, under Aidan Massey and later with Sheleigh Webb. In 2008, Charlie began his undergraduate Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied with the Internationally renowned violinist Maciej Rakowski. Charlie works as a freelance musician, working in all parts of the UK with, to name a few the London Pops Orchestra, Surrey Art’s Melody Line Orchestra and in pit orchestras in performances of shows such as Dogfight by Pasek and Paul, Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado.

Lidia

Lidia is an upcoming London-based cellist, who studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music with David Strange. Originally from Spain, she gained experience from a young age winning a place at the reputable Reina Sofia and Royal Conservatory in Madrid. She was also a member of the Tenerife Symphony orchestra, Malaga Symphony orchestra and RTVE orchestra. Lidia dedicates time recording (she is featured in The Giardino String Quartet’s music videos) and playing regularly with the various orchestras and chamber groups around the UK.
