Giardino Strings provides the best of solo violin musicians, fiddlers & composers who specialize in performing original solo violin music at weddings — including wedding ceremonies, dinners, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts, corporate events and parties. Our musicians are self contained and can perform acoustic or electric instruments.
Barbara was born in a musical family and started playing the violin when she was 6 years old. She studied at the Academy of Music in Poland receiving her first-honors violin diploma in 2008. Further studies took place in Florence where for two years she led the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana.
She’s a regular member of various string ensemble and since March 2013 she plays in various show including The Duchess Theatre in the West End.
Barbara also enjoys teaching both privately and in schools across London, Poland and Italy.
Olivia is a London based violinist trained under the guidance of Diana Cummings. Her passion for orchestral playing has seen her lead the Trinity Laban Sinfonia and other external orchestras back in her home County of Sussex.
Olivia is also an enthusiastic chamber musician, performing regularly with string quartets both classically and commercially across the UK.
Her flair for improvisation and jazz violin is also particularly noted as the string quartet that she leads have collaborated with jazz musicians from Trinity Laban to perform in prestigious jazz venues across London.
Chloe began playing the violin aged 8 and was offered a place at The Yehudi Menuhin School aged 14. She now currently studies with Simon Fischer at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Chloe has received masterclasses from world renowned musicians such as Lewis Kaplan, Jeremy Menuhin, Ani Schnarch, Zvi Zeitlin, Zakhar Bron, Heinrich Schiff and Elmira Darvarova.
Chloe has also played with many orchestras including the BBC Concert Orchestra on BBC Radio 3, The Penang Symphony Orchestra, The LSO, The Orion Orchestra and recently was part of Proms Praise 4 Schools in The Royal Albert Hall.
Jamie-lee is an upcoming London based Violist and Violinist, who studied at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire with Nic Pendlebury.
Originally from Brighton, she gained experience from a young age winning a place at the reputable Roedean school. She was also a member of the Brighton youth orchestra and string orchestra under Andrew Sherwood.
Jamie-lee dedicates time recording (she is featured in The Giardino String Quartet’s music videos) and playing regularly with the various orchestras and chamber groups around the UK.
